not the best of starts to may ............

technical problems and a unfortunate unseated just two of the highlights to day to forget , also a message to lay a horse at 8/1 when the price is 11/12 with only £20 on the offer @ 12 i may be good BUT lets be fair !!! as i speak @ 7.20 tuesday evening its 15/200 £51 x £4 for the epsom race , i imagine im not the only one hoping for a decent run on his reappearance but news of a sluggish trial today does not sound promising , ladbrokes who have a fair grip of the o'brien team have taken him out of the betting and on the fair he is 75/300 for the first classic of the season after the 1000 guineas episode i think i may leave the ante post selections alone as the liquidity or prices to come to that do not add up .

i played a couple in the first at wincanton master of the race £100 ew @ 10/1 laying back @ 10.0/3.0 and le corvee £125 @ 10/1 and i layed this also @ 10.0 neither looked likely to trouble the judge and i took a commission loss of £12.18 on the race . MH was keen to oppose scotland yard i also had a call back for this race from another service so i decided to hold fire as i didnt want all my eggs in one basket so to speak , although not a clean round of hurdling scotland yard comfortably accounted for his market rival but no damage done personally . i was quite active in the last at wincanton optimum were none to keen on the chances of liberty ben i layed £40 @ 4.96 and i arbed 4 other horses carpet ride (+£50) , or apples (+£107.50) , manly money (+£81.20) and mr splodge (+£38.13) , but with obviously liberty ben a loser and so was salinas when you take commission into account , sadly for my book liberty run prevailed , i was quite impressed by his performance he had every opportunity to buckle under pressure but his jumping stood the test and he battled on for a pleasing win for connections but not for me ! then my only other bet was in the bumper at sedgefield i was told by a respected judge that the trainer thought a lot of dundiclou he disappointed when made favourite on his debut but he floundered in the soft ground ,i waded in with £200 @ 11/4 before the non runners , well he drifted like a barge and travelled about as quickly as one , my judge is a little less respected by me after that !!!! so that brings to a close a most miserable 1st of may -£400.35 .

Fully agree with your comments about the ante-post bets Dirk.Whilst ringing yesterday,i looked on betfair as he gave out the advice to lay back the Derby bet and nothing available under 11/1 to lay !Same regarding the 1,000 bet too, looks like another £200 down the pan.Keeping well clear of ante-posts from now on....

The amount of nonsence you put up with from this service is incredible. Every now and again you come across some special info and rate the service highly.Unfortunately those occasions are now few and far between. As for the grief and hassle, well!!!!

There is a certain amount of delusion with this service.Members continue due to the FEAR.

The fear is this, that as soon as they pull out of doing the bets, a big run of winners will be missed. As simple as that.

Meanwhile the actual insiders continue to drain the profits.FACT.

Have you ever sat and analysed the insiders? Put away on a regular basis as they are based on stable information. As for the format changing due to their poor run? i.e. only put up after they were considered close to account bets? Really? Whos kidding who?

Tried to lay off that bet yesterday to no avail. No liquidity on betfair. Tried the other two and no joy either.

So frustrating. If one know theres no liquidity (log on to betfair and check the antepost market) then why give it as an advice? Make up your own mind. Is it acceptable behaviour?

I agree - it is a load of absolute rubbish and until members vote with their feet by not giving the charlatan any more money, things will never change. There is no way any members managed to lay back those bets, at least not at the odds he advised. The service hasn't even made enough this year to cover his ridiculous subscription fees and it is May already. I think it could be his worst year ever and I certainly would never give them any more money....

Saying to those members who didnt get the main a-c yest that "it ws an each way placed bet" is at best a joke at worst fraud

The bet produced a loss of more than 50% of stakes invested!

What else is new though, let's face it.... there is a lot of artistic licence used in the putting together of the figures.

Dirk I dont know why you continue to promote this service. Its just loss after loss each day. You are not doing anyone new a favour.

As a previous poster has mentioned 50 per cent of stakes were lost on that bet yesterday. However it seems 'acceptable' then to claim its a ew placed bet, 'NO DAMAGE DONE'

God help anyone who missed that day recently when there was a profit. That day was a BLIP!!

mr/mrs anons , yes some valid points , a own goal by mr booth yday i feel with the advice to lay the selection back at a price which was just not there ,we are not stupid and i feel we should be treated with more respect than that , but i must respod to comment 8 - the person who posted this comment has misunderstood this blog , i am not personally promoting isiris , mark holder or optimum racing this blog if you take the time to read it is my personal online diary in pursuit of £30,000 nothing more nothing less , my income my wage whatever you want to call it is derived from following these services , i do not have a office job a job on a building site a job as a male escort , my job is betting via these services . if they make me money they are shown in a good light as with mh and in that way my blog promotes that service . How does my blog effect any new members ? i cant get my head around that , so if i stop my blog all of a sudden everything will be rosey in the world of isiris ? I DONT THINK SO !!!

Dirk,
I have just read your comments on Isiris for the 1st time, I have been a member for the past few years.
I agree with you that a profit can be turned, I do main accounts and have recently been arbing the insiders (as you know not always in a favourable position)eg yesterdays 20-1 ew, the 6 non runners and Betfair still laying to 4 places.
The Profit on Mark Holder seems excellent is it easy to get the prices and have recent years always been as profitable.
