nice to end the month with a decent profit , although on the whole a poor end to the month over the last week ,april has produced a profit of £4712.82 , so a third into the year and im slightly behind schedule but after the start i had , overall im satisfied . enjoyed my increased personal activity today and hope that it will become the norm from now on .

I decided to concentrate on the card from towcester knowing that MH & OPTIMUM may provide some pointers for the card , the first race i played in was the 2.40 MH had given menelaus as a selection and i managed to back him for £180 ew @ 4/1 , i laid £205 @ 4.51 giving a liability of £720 cancelling out the £720 i would collect if he won and i layed £180 in the place market @ 1.58 , menelaus was successful producing a profit on this trade of £39 from the place trading , i added another £75 by laying stack the pack £45 @ 5.8 and grousemount £30 @ 8.0 making it approx 9/4 the pair so although individually i do not like to lay above 5/1 i will lay above that price if i couple them as i did in this instance so a profit personally of £114 on the race . The hcap chase at 3.40 was quite lively from a price perspective and i ended up with a brilliant book i traded £882.50 on betfair my losers both for £33.09 were metal detector and auditor due to commission and i had winners from £8.69 magic of sydney to £233 earcomesannie , missy moscow (+£63.80) outbattled cockspur (+£113.05) to post a small profit on the race . My only lose on the day was £22.59 in the 4.40 i had arbed neven and who dares , i could tell neven was not going to win after a £7000 lay was posted just before the tapes went up and he was duly never seriously put in the race , but no damage done and a profit of £155.21 on the day .
