a fortunate profit of £105.87 in the afternoon , andrew @ optimum metioned a couple of races @ newcastle the 2.20 where he was interested in dan tucket and the 3.20 newcastle where he was no so keen on aston lad around the 9/4 level and thought that madiba would be had to keep out the first 3 and @ 5/1 a decent ew bet ................. dan tucket was passed over as i had a interest in the horse via the isiris main account bet , so onto the 3.20 race , aston lad was trading @ 3.55/3.65 when i first looked at the race i put a trade to lay £50 @ 3.25 on and also orders to back madiba @ 6.00/2.10 win/place , as the race approached i had been matched in the place market £100 @ 2.10 but the other two were untouched , 2f out madiba was caught out as he lacks a turn of foot but stayed on stoutly to just be denied for 3rd ............. a loss of £100 , but then happy days ! the clerk of the scales objects to the 3rd , well that to me one thing , that the 3rd will be chucked out , this was the case and as if by magic a £100 loss was turned into a £105.87 profit ! i made a small amount on the compton star race i backed him for an extra £151 ew @ 11/2 i layed £151 @ 5.8 then i/r i layed £150 @ 1.70 on average , in the place market i layed £151 @ 1.88 to produce a small profit of £32.53 if he reaches the frame and a loss of comm if does not , thankfully he reached the frame via the winners enclosure a profit of £138.40 on the day .

dirk some time since ive posted but am following your fortunes daily. Very glad you seem not to have bowed to pressure from KB (or should that be KGB!) to omit all mention of Isiris. The comments about us memberws being 'put away' with Sat's bet were clearly out of order, aas you rightly said. That said, given that the mark your card message said the jolly was a cert the bet was stupid. And how did you get on tonght with tomorrow's York bet?? I got bits on. For KB to say we could get the price in the shops for 15 minutes in the morning was also treating us members as idiots---- unless he really does not know that we will be limited to about 25 pounds! Good evening Dirk as you posted your 1st test thoughts yesterday i thought id add mine i was going to do this tommorow but im at York and will no doubt have difficulty putting something sensible together by then -i really cant see past England ranked 2 compared to windies 7 conditions should suit our bowlers and we have a decent spinner whereas they will probably rely on Gayle -having analysed stats for lords tests since 2000 the average innings score is 323 and average match length 4 days( deducting interruptions) 3 draws have occured out of 14 matches 22% my odds are therefore England 8/13 draw 100/30 windies 6/1 -the draw is poor value and although all this adds up to concurring with your strategy to lay the draw im adopting a slightly different approach and dutching both teams
6pts England @ 1.68 and 1pt Windies @ 10-11 ish -this should have sent anyone who can be bothered to read to sleep by now!Cheers
hi there jeanius , i managed to get £115 on with the magic sign i would have played it slightly different but perhaps kb was concerned about pricewise putting the horse up , it was always going to be a struggle when you have a limited number of bookies quoting , be lucky DD.
The past month has been a nightmare getting on with MH and I can only assume that this site is not helping matters and the problem will only get worse over time.
I for one would like the coverage of MH to end.
