thats the way to do it ............

as mr punch would say ! a very nice 4/1 main account winner , the horse in question i was alerted to this morning by the horse alert facility on www.easyodds.com as i had a inkling this horse was going to be a main account bet last week when a late withdrawal , i didnt pre empt the bet as i have long given up trying to second guess kb , a recipe for disaster ! , but i was going to have a pony ew .

did some business with www.betmate.com in the first at brighton and later @ yarmouth , im the first to admit it lacks the liquidity of betfair but @ 3% comm im happy , my lays on the laying service were split between the two exchanges , yes i would say that my trades on the fair were executed first but as soon as there is a slight discrepency between the sites the bots step in .

a second consecutive winner for optimum , hopefully the flat season will bring about a well deserved change in fortunes .

PERSONAL TRADING

i made a profit of £75 in the first at brighton , courtesy of sirjoshua reynolds i backed him for £100 @ 8/1 when he was under that price on the exchanges i layed £50 @ 7.50 and £50 @ 7.0 both on www.betmate.com in the same race i backed prunes £200 @ 7/2 laying it back @ 4.20 but sirjoshua was successful and a nice profit of £75 was achieved . then a similar trade in the 3.55 yarmouth , paddy power were bog and networker was 3/1 i was allowed £110 at the price , money was coming in for the horse and it was soon 3.6/3.7 in normal circumstances i may have layed some around that level but as i had some daylight and the bonus of bog i decided to hold fire , this paid off as the horse shortened on the shows , i layed £110 @ 3.00 , i was going to lay £135 but as i was already £75 in front i decided against this , well networker was the easiest winner of the day in my eyes and a profit of £110 , giving me £185 on the day , only 15 consecutive days like today and id be home n hosed in my yearly target !!!

Morning Dirk, well done yesterday.

Must say Bet Collection 2.10 Yarmouth seemed a bit bizarre. 6 runner race, all three newcomers not fancied, and lay two of others, cant see what % was running for you. Indeed if that was their route the risk/reward angle would have been to back the only won left imo.

hi there hqq , im sure they would have a valid reason for their stance on the race laying the two at 9/4 means you are laying them coupled at between 8/11 - 4/6 perhaps they had heard news on the newcomers that wasnt reflected in the betting mkt , i thought the 2nd ran a decent race and wont be too long before he gets off the mark , regards DD.

Hi Dirk,

Great day for you there. Doesnt sound a big task does it when you say '15 more days like that'.But we all know it is a serious challenge.

Never did get the Account cricket bet on Dirk. I havnt a clue about cricket, the leagues etc. What was it and hows it doing?

Thanks.

hi there , yes 15 days dont sound like much but i think im slight odds against this year to make my target , but only time will tell , a few more days like yesterday would help ! as for the cricket , well the weather is hampering everyone at present the side given are mid table with a game in hand , but the game at present is rain affected , hopefully we can have some warm weather so shane can weave his magic !!! regards DD.

Hi,

Congratulations. Glad the tide is turning for you and especially the kb subscribers (my son being one of them) He never lets me know how things are going with his advices and he's NEVER been a punter before, so I'm glad to be able to glean some info via your blogs. BTW, say you DID achieve your goal in, say, 2 or 3 weeks - what would you then do? Carry on regardless or say "job done"? Just wondered.

Cheers, ExSettler

ex settler , IF that were to happen i would take a week off on holiday and have a think about it ! last year i made it in october peaked in nov and had a poor dec the peak was £35k and i ended the year on £32k in all probability i would carry on as now , i enjoy it and have confidence in the services i subscribe to , regards DD.
