what a result today a profit just short of £200 i agree nothing to shout home about but after the lingfield 4.15 i was losing £640 so well chuffed with that , i got some glossy brochures today from skybet explaining the merger of ukbetting & totalbet with skybet and giving me a free £5 bet so i logged on to back charles darwin @ ripon ................. only one problem my max bet with them seems set @ £1.75 !!!!!

i got involved in the 3.30 via £50 ew charles darwin @ 7/1 and £25 ew lake chini 27/6.6 both weakened pretty tamely and then i backed joy n pain £35 ew @ 15/2 in the 3.45 ling but this selection never got into the race so a deficit of £220 , at this point i took a break and went for a stroll up to the bookies in southgate within a mile i have a pretty good selection 2 x hills , 2 x lads , a paddy power shop and a soon to be opened betfred shop i had £100 ew on sophie tucker in the 4.30 against the long odds on costume , to my eyes second never looked in danger , a profit of £200 , i pulled up stumps for the day with a loss of £20 .

Hi Dirk i was at Ripon yesterday and had the same idea as you to back Sophie Tucker ew however yesterday was more of a social than working day i lost track of time enjoying a bottle with Mrs Drever and only got down to the rails 2 mins before the off there must have been 7 or 8 layers on the rails only one was betting ew sophie tucker @ 7/1 two were betting without the top 2 and the rest win only didnt have time to go in the tatts -just suprised me how it was returned @ 12s touching 14s! Skybet i just tried to put £50 on Kent to beat Yorks via the net was allowed £29 bah at least i cant be public enemy no1! cheers

Did you do KB's max cricket bet, I dont think I will bother doing any of this years tennis bets at wimbledon, certinly not any 1-33.
Nice winner for Isiris saved the day then. I am struggling for winners right now. It will turn around when the weather settles I know.
drever , these bookies do make me larf you see there reps on atr giving it the bigun and ask for a bet and you get this sort of service absolutely pathetic ! re sophie tucker thats why i decided to get out and have a stroll at least at the shops they were not going to knock back my bets , the cashier i gave my bet to was more interested in texting and then doing her nails !!! all the best DD.
hi anom , yes i backed the cricket bet as i had a bet on middlesex ew in div 2 and was quite happy to have a interest in div 1 im hoping for some dusty summer wkts for shane to weave his magic , i try to back all the bets but i draw the line at the really short football n tennis bets , there are just not for me ! regards DD.

I see you use a number of services at the moment. I used a service called INSIDER INFORMATION and THE UPDATE LINE for many years but the service appears to have stopped today. It was a premium rate telephone number and has been going since 1988 from memory. Have you heard of it, and if so would you have any details of them by any chance.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am keen to get in touch with them.
