with two main account bets out of the frame , but im not too downhearted as the losses were minimised with decent personal returns and a first winner for optimum sport , i could easily of been looking down the barrel at a loss in excess of £1000 today but thankfully this was not the case

PERSONAL TRADING
i had a lovely all green book on the old trafford test my only worry was a tie ! but thankfully just after lunch harmy n monty claimed the victory i had to trade the test on betfair rather than betmate as the liquidity was so poor on the latter ,the profit was £216 after comm . the afternoon was pretty quiet but i had £20 ew on hazy days who got up on the line to provide a nice win and a profit of £384 in the afternoon exchanges .
in the evening my sole bet was £50 on snorbans louie in the 6.38 romford @ 4.00 , he finally got his head in front where it mattered to record his first win , a personal profit on the day of £528 .

hi there anom , a unbelievable comment , as with any service you are not going to have a straight line profits graph there will be losses , yes the last 10 days have produced a loss of £900 but thats JUST 3.6 points !!! be lucky DD.
DD , great blog btw really enjoy following your rollercoaster ride , im a isiris member and feel i have to comment on the advert in todays post , STOP PRESS what a load of baloney !!! yes we had a 16/1 winner but we ended the day just 1/4 ahead , so monthly subscribers does that pay for your £245 !!! DD, well done on the Test bet; just as well your judgement was upheld. What I am wondering is: do you get more pleasure from your personal trading and using YOUR own take on things as against following the tipping services? Having made my living for many years as either a settler (1956 prior to shops!) and later as manager of a London chain (John Parry) I now get my kicks from choosing my own bets. I do not have the right personality to follow tipsters - not much fun in it. Keep up the good blog!
exsettler - you done getting many settlers these days do you ! all done on the machines a dying profession like that of a on course tic tac , i remember my dad went to setting school before he worked for a london chain called johny qostal bookmakers , spelling is prob wrong in the 60's . yes i love profiting from my own thoughts and via what i see like last week with russian reel but a lot of profits are from comments of the services i subscribe to , they may not be strong enough for the account but may be of interest if a certain price is reached , well i first used the services when i worked in the city as i wanted to bet , didnt want to do my dough but i didnt have enuf time to put in the study , no the fun may have gone out of it , but its a job at the end of the day and are jobs supposed to be fun ? but i can say that i enjoy what i do and thats enuf for me , all the best regards DD.
