and got better !!!! a couple of years ago i had a wake up call healthwise , had to change my lifestyle a bit and behave a little more responsibly if i wanted to live to see any children / grandchildren grow up , thats what the doctors and nurses told me and from that day my life changed , so much for the better . every 6 months now i return to have a check up and this morning was check up time , everything was spot on so a relief there , the usual you could do with losing a few pounds and drink a little less but everyone was pleased , i have cut down on the drink but the bottom line is that is that i dont smoke but i do enjoy a glass or two of wine . i lost my mum in a car crash as a teenager and ever since that time i decided to live life to the full, as if every day is your last , well perhaps i took it to the extreme not content with burning the candle at both ends i was burning it in the middle aswell ! but for the first time in my life i think i have the balance right a lot of that is down to mrs d , less of all that ............
it looked like being a very quiet monday ntg from my main services in the afternoon but it proved to be a most profitable day ................

the afternoon was very quiet so i decided to look at a couple of races @ lecicester the 3.00/3.30 in the 3.00 i liked fretwork and was not so keen on giant slalom i was unsure how to play it , in the end i decided to hold back and play in the next , a 4 runner event could be a tactical affair on soft ground , money came in for medley and i was worried over the ground for this one and decided to take it on , i was looking at laying around the 6/4 mark but sustained support meant i layed £200 @ 2.32 , i was pretty confident from some way out my money was safe and i was in profit to the tune of £194 . my only other bet on the day was in the last @ thirsk , mimi mouse was a horse that i had backed last time out when just being denied 4th by a shd , tonight my selection had a brilliant draw and i had £60 on @ 5.3 , bagging the rails early on i was fairly confident and a win brought to a close a most peasing day in a couple of respects , a profit of £444.70
