this bet was mentioned on the optimum line last weekend , an the tim vaughan trained pauls plain won easily in the 5.10 fontwell , optimum have been successful in their own colours this summer with the same jockey/trainer combination through city affair , and these riding arrangements may prove profitable to follow in the winter months ........... credit where credits due , many congratulations to optimum .

a minor setback for me today , i took note of the strong finishing debonnaire trained by mark johnston on his debut , he was out today in the first at redcar , he ran well enough but i was left a little disappointed as he finished 5th beaten a hd and shd for 3rd , a bet of £100 ew @ 8/1 went astray . my only other bet was £100 @ 4/1 on my bitch gregorys girl in the 8.32 romford and again i was left a little disappointed as she got herself into a decent position only to run a poor 3 rd bend , as she dead heated for 3rd , so a loss of £300 on the day.
