courtesy of the mh advised star of canterbury at hereford . as per usual with it being a sunday i struggled to get anywhere near the suggested price , i believe 7/1 was freely available with it being a point longer at a couple of smaller shops . but i was out with family down the kennels walking dogs and got chucked into a paddock with eight 3 month old pups that absolutely tore me to pieces , or my tracksuit bottoms to be precise , had a lovely morning early afternoon in wonderful weather . i got the message pretty promptly but as sid james are my only outlet worthy of calling i was limited to say the least but they do at least offer guaranteed odds now on every race , i asked for £150 ew @ 6/1 gtd , they cut me down to £75 ew ........... i got the other 1/2 point ew on at 5/1 , a convincing winner @ 4/1 made it a most profitable day .
no main account bet from isiris so nothing for me , but they were spot on with mahogany blaze in the kempton novice chase , a confident insider bet was the call .
