after winning @ double carpet (33/1 !) , i wasnt on it as i dont back the insiders but i hope many isiris insider followers cleaned up today . another quiet day overall but thats to be expected with no jump racing as both mh and optimum have finished on the flat for 2007 , hopefully something from hexham tomorrow .

to my eyes spinning lucy looked the unlucky horse in the race , but our selection kept on really well he was under pressure before his rivals but stuck on well and showed a nice attitude .
PERSONAL BETTING
well i started the day in deficit from last night after chelsea s come from behind win , i was in arrears to the tune of £131.99 , my only bet was on the cricket , i was in a betting shop for an afternoon isiris call back @ 3.50 , the shop had both the football and cricket on sri lanka were trying to mount a recovery and were 87/4 the paddy power shop were 11/10 sl 4/6 eng , i thought 4/6 was a decent price england as batting second looked to me a disadvantage and i thought englands score of 234 was above par , i had £180 to win £120 , just as the bet was struck england in the form of swann took a wicket 90/5 , were immediately 1/5 and never looked in danger from that point , to reduce my loss personally to £11.99 on the day .

There were definitely a few on that double carpet as you hear them screaming for joy as the horse duly won. As for Spurs it is so disappointing that they can not defend. Does not look like Ledley will ever get fit, which is a real shame.
I wish some of the services I used would start recording a profit. The tbc lay had a good spell after you left but in the last couple weeks we have given most of that money back.
I might look to change next year so will be looking closely at Mark Holder and Optimum.
hi brian , defending as i have already mentioned seems to be a constant weakness in the side , you get used to after seeing them so often , but would be nice to see a strong stable pairing in the mould of gough/roberts , i had high hopes of dawson but without ledley he seems average , and yes ledley if a racehorse would surely be retired and off to the paddocks only to return if he were firing blanks !!!
im often asked to try and trial other services and i did trial the tbc laying service , but there is a limit to how many you can manage at one time and the three i have , i would recommend although isiris does require some extra time with call backs but this will change with the new system .
i had a personal email from a reader of the blog who subscribes to TEN services !!! that i find incredible and his subscription fees must add up to a tidy sum .
brian i would recommend both the two services mentioned and if you need any further info , the chaps who run the services are most approachable so give them a call or email me and i,ll explain how they work with regard to calling times etc etc .
