from last nights events , but lets start with some good news ! gregorys girl continued her progression last night with a decent victory in the romford 7.22 leading all the way returned the 7/4 fav , i didnt play as i made her a 3/1 chance and my orders were unmatched on betfair .

well i went to romford last night to watch gregorys girl , yes i thought that she had every chance although upped in grade and i expected her to go very close , but i would only back her if the price was right if she went 5/2 at the track i would have backed her , i left orders on the fair to back her @ 3/1 , but she opened 7/4 and at the off a bit of 2/1 was available , she trapped brilliantly and led all the way , did me not supporting her take any gloss off the win ? not at all i still shouted her home like a madman and was chuffed to bits , she is entered for a open race @ reading on thursday night so fingers crossed that she will get in .
my only bet on the night was get a grip a improving pup from the same kennel as mine , ran a brilliant race last time out and i expected her to run well , he opened on the track @ 9/4 , support came in for the four dog into 5/4 but get a grip only drifted to 5/2 but was available at 7/2 on the fair , i had £200 on . he trapped out well , only led by the 5 who had bags of early and going down the back straight was 3lengths behind , but then he started to make ground and coming off the last bend he was about to take it up on the inside when the 5 shut the door on him and he was forced to check , coming up to the line he was closing but the finish came a couple of strides to soon and he was beaten a head .
so i start the day £375 in arrears ................... work to do !

off for a stroll as i need to clear my head but lost my discipline a little today , i need a holiday ....... roll on sunday ! the old buying money syndrome kicked me where it hurts , i thought for all the world that townkab in the first at goodwood had won and that 1.40 was a gift from above i had £500 @ 1.42 well i wasnt wrong he did win but in a dead heat .......... a loss of £145 on the race . i had the intention of arbing mostarsil in the 3.10 goodwood i had £200 ew @ 9/1 i layed £125 @ 7.2/2.32 win/place and was going to arb the rest but i decided to keep it ...... wrong move out of the frame and add another £161.25 to the total . my last play was in the 5.05 ling again i was going to arb fancy i had £500 win @ 5/1 , the place market offered little value as a 1/5 odds and was trading around 2.00/2.10 , i layed £400 @ 5.15 leaving me £100 @ 9.40 brilliant on the returned 7/2 second fav ................... well it ran like a 1000/1 shot being pulled up , so ended a day i wanna forget , cant complain had a decent run recently , time to regroup tomorrow as a loss overall on the day taking into account last nights action of £799.25
