HORSE A £250 ew @ 5/1 3rd p/l nil
correct to go against the odds on fav who was just beaten into 2nd but i was mighty relieved to recoup my outlay as michael hills to my eyes seemed to take it easy inside the last furlong when it looked like 3rd was assured only for andaman sunset to finish like a train , a stride past the line we were 4th . i am not one to criticise jockeys ................ much ! as my only time on a horse resulted in a very embarressing ejection out of the saddle when the horse started to trot but i have favourites and not so favourites and for many years the hills brothers have been amongst the latter group .
PERSONAL TRADING
a loss of £200 for me and that was therefore the loss on the day , i layed the godolphin kirklees £250 @ 1.80 , an easy convincing winner and i knew my fate some way out . i fancied spurs in the evening and i was tempted to have a £390/240 (8/13) but my football punting is about as successful as a chocolate teapot so i decided not to risk it , at the end of the day it would have paid off but i,ll take the £200 loss on the chin and look forward to tomorrow .
