a tiny loss today , not much to get overly excited on to be honest . i like everyone else wanted to oppose berings express in the first at ascot but i was not prepared to pay the price quoted when i called betfair , it was drifting on course but the exchange drift was magnified somewhat . i considered laying in the place market but decided to sit the heat out .

played in just one race the 3.45 ascot , close with a second and a small profit of £107.55 courtesy of amour multiple , i had £50 ew @ 5/1 and pre race he initially was drifting on the exchanges so i had £75 @ 2.50 in the place market , travelling well in the race i was at one stage expecting a nice win , but the winner missis potts stayed on well so i collected just on the place bet .
