My only trade concerned the 2.oo plum where i thought ring back was worth taking on in the place market i laid £200 at a average of 1.695 , leaving the back straight i was more than confident of collecting high life was coasting and had company with just poppytee who was being driven clear of the toiling ring back , but then turning into the uphill finish high life started to struggle and ring back was staying on , ring on swept past high life to finish second although high life did stay on one paced , so a deficit on the day of £139.19.

evening Dirk - the max bet on saturday is at least providing a breathing space-on the iciris ew double-are you ever tempted to lay the 2nd part off if the first leg is successful? i find it infuriating if the first goes in only for the 2nd to flop-i laid marine life in the place market for £100 @ 1.5 -(im on 1/2 your stakes)-i know i then dont meet KBs stated profits if it wins but from my experience many seem to fall at the second hurdle or perhaps these incidents stick in my memory lets hope for better tomorrow-cheers
hi drever , well its was 33/1 bar three i tried to lay marine life i/r in the win mkt but as we know he never got competitive at any stage ,ran no race at all , thats not his form, to be honest i was on at odds against in the place mkt and i was content with the bet , i was gonna bet marine life on my own account until isiris went with it , well done to you though , yes a frustrating day but regardless of what others have said im happy with the selection given out , yes it drifted but thats because it was put in too short initially ships hill is a decent prospect and i only thought we could win via default if the fav fell or was dramatically under the weather, no money on course for marine life but thats understandable as no one there would take a ew bet on the race , all the best DD.
