today just about sums up my month as i will explain in my personal trading update , 3 small losers from isiris but just pleased to see the back of january .

a frustrating day that ended in a small loss of £102.49 but when i look at my notes from the start of the day i cant believe i lost money , i have lays against jimmy bond & go johnny in the 3.20 newc and im spatacus 3.10 leices these are all down to the price being too short and i have positives for sherwoods folly ew (2.40leices) , jimmys duky (2.50newc) , sole agent (3.10leices) , cool cossack & star time (3.20newc) englishtown (3.40leices) and master sebastian (3.50newc) , so the 3 lays got beat and 3/7 selections winning . well i did lay the 3 losers for small money and backed jimmys duky ew @ 5/1 , sole agent @ 14/1 , cool cossack @ 12/1 and star time 25/1 but passed over the 3 winners due to sherwoods folly missing the 5/1 , englishtown too short and master sebastian although he had the best form there were stamina doubts , my biggest frustration though was in the race master sebastian won as isiris had a ew selection in almire du lia as we had a n/r meaning only 7 run places down to first2 so i backed almire du lia in the place mkt at 3.8-4.1 and layed part off at 3.0 so i ended up having £75 @ 4.6 .................. in running almire du lia touched 2.02 but faded into fourth to end a perfect month ......................... NOT !!!!

Hi Dirk lets hope February shows an upturn in fortunes hope you managed to get on Kilmarnock my January was probably about what i expected but im an incrisis subscriber only so ive managed to escape relativley unscathed with a loss of 4pts on the month most annoying for me was my cricket trading i made 5 points but made some poor decisions in test matches which cost me -one day fare only now world cup etc -which i find more difficult!! good luck for the coming month
Hi Dirk , I've gone £50 stks on the account bets to the advice.Managed to get 200e/w @ 9/2 without much fuss .Typical of me to get the only unplaced account bet of the year so far.
