Quiet day personally as i had some jobs that needed attending to , with the testing conditions at both NH venues i was quite happy to sit this afternoon out , so i placed the above bets and shut up shop . Kilpine Champ a very fast dog was running in a open at Romford in the 10.08 he is owned and trained by some good friends of mine , he was trained by peter rich but recently went to "long bob" pattinson , the champ once the fastest dog in the country over sprint distances has been dogged with injuries throughout his career but last week after a slow start in the sprint he showed good pace to get up on the line , he looks in good heart at present so i wanted a small interest on him tonight . he ran well but not well enough to finish second @ 5/2 so -£50 on the day .
