frustration mainly , stayed with friends overnight enroute to cheltenham so i had to rely on the internet accounts for "getting on" ............. or not as was the case !!! im too old in the tooth to get too wound up by todays events , yes its frustrating but not much you can do . i received a few emails from folk who experienced similar problems and were less than pleased that the bookies would not allow them £200 ew @ 40/1 & 25/1 .................. get real folk !!!!
anyway lets move on , have a good few days , updating next on monday as will be without lap top till then .

after the 25/1 next show was 16/1 after being advised @ 40/1 i wasnt gonna take 16/1 , betfair were trading around 16 on the win market and 3 in the place so that avenue didnt offer any value .

Hi, hope you are well. Got lucky yesterday, had a few days off work and managed to get 100ew at 40/1 in a hills shop, thought the odds of getting it accepted would be simmilar, especially as I've been there a few times and I'm almost certain they know me as an Isiris member. Cashier sounded surprised, but put it through, got 210 laid off at just under 2-1 in place market, to cover stake, then wish I hadn't, as it cost me nearly half the winnings, and I also tipped the cashier 50 quid to hopefully mean I get on next time ;) Her manager noticed, so hopefully she will be nice next time as well :) But hey, it's Christmas soon.....

well you certainly get the gold medal on this one , the next best i heard of was £37.50 ew , all the other people who emailed me asked for sums around £100 ew or £90 ew and got referred they all got £25 ew on . a fellow isiris member reminded me of a bet on the reg hollinshead runner red moor at newmarket about 4years ago a max ew bet @ 33/1 , he got his bet on no problem and i remember getting a£200 ew on no questions asked ........ how times have changed . all these guys are interested in these days are the casino type machines , they never have any money to pay out and treat horse punters with deplorable disdain , its just not the bookies though the racing authorities treat us in a nonchalant manner , how much longer do we have to put up with such shambles as was the case this week with the well backed rude health deemed to have started !!! that was a disgraceful episode and one that needs adressing , but i digress .
well done on the bet and although you were not rewarded this time , i feel you were certainly correct in laying the 2/1 for a place ,
